Obavy, \u017ee v\u00fdbuch po\u0161kod\u00ed priehradu, sa nenaplnili. Medzit\u00fdm radarov\u00e9 \u00fadaje ukazuj\u00fa, \u017ee aktu\u00e1lna hladina n\u00e1dr\u017ee je okolo 14 metrov. To je asi o 2 metre ni\u017e\u0161ie ako jeho po\u017eadovan\u00e1 v\u00fd\u0161ka. Od decembra 2022 klesla hladina vody v n\u00e1dr\u017ei Kakhovka na najni\u017e\u0161iu \u00farove\u0148 satelitn\u00fdch pozorovan\u00ed za posledn\u00fdch 30 rokov.<\/p>\n<p>Vodn\u00e1 n\u00e1dr\u017e Kakhovka je obrovsk\u00e9 umel\u00e9 jazero. Je to kone\u010dn\u00e1 n\u00e1dr\u017e v sieti n\u00e1dr\u017e\u00ed pozd\u013a\u017e rieky Dneper. Od roku 1950 sa pou\u017e\u00edva na z\u00e1sobovanie pitnou a zavla\u017eovacou vodou do ju\u017en\u00fdch oblast\u00ed regi\u00f3nov Cherson a Zaporizhia v Ukrajine. Dlh\u00fd kan\u00e1l ved\u00faci z n\u00e1dr\u017ee dod\u00e1va vodu aj na Ruskom okupovan\u00fd Krym.<\/p>\n<p>Pod\u013ea Briana Koonsa, geografa zo \u0160v\u00e9dskej univerzity po\u013enohospod\u00e1rskych vied, ktor\u00fd \u0161tudoval po\u013enohospod\u00e1rstvo na ju\u017enej Ukrajine, je n\u00e1dr\u017e nevyhnutn\u00e1 na zabezpe\u010denie vody pre vyprahnut\u00fa po\u013enohospod\u00e1rsku p\u00f4du v ju\u017enej \u010dasti krajiny. Sie\u0165 kan\u00e1lov siahaj\u00facich od n\u00e1dr\u017ee zavla\u017euje pribli\u017ene 200 000 hekt\u00e1rov po\u013enohospod\u00e1rskej p\u00f4dy vyu\u017e\u00edvanej na pestovanie slne\u010dnice, obilia a zeleniny.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e1dr\u017e Kakhovka bola tie\u017e kritick\u00fdm zdrojom vody pre Krymsk\u00fd polostrov, ktor\u00fd je z\u00e1sobovan\u00fd 403-kilometrov\u00fdm kan\u00e1lom. Po inv\u00e1zii Ruska na Krym v roku 2014 Ukrajina stiahla vodu z kan\u00e1la. Ale po ruskej inv\u00e1zii na Ukrajinu v plnom rozsahu vo febru\u00e1ri 2022 bolo jedn\u00fdm z cie\u013eov obnovi\u0165 dod\u00e1vky vody na Krym a Rusko tak urobilo v lete.
